FEATURES OF SONIC HORIZON CABLE:
The Connectors
At any given price point you'll notice that SONIC
HORIZON use top quality connectors like the superb
WBT, BFA, WATTaGATE, and Hubbell for example. SONIC
HORIZON knows the importance of the right connector
and consider it as an integral part of each cables'
design.
The Size:
During our 28 years of experience in the audio business,
SONIC HORIZON has learned two things about huge cables...
1) They impress the potential buyer, and
2) Most people become frustrated with them after
they own them awhile. There have been many cases
where mini monitors have been pulled off their stands
by these large cables. Even the very expensive cables
can be self-destructed due to the stress placed
on the terminations just from their own weight.
There was a case of a very popular interconnect
that was so large and stiff, that you had to bend
them into a position to be able to plug them in,
but then they would attempt to spring back with
such force that it would either break the jack out
of the equipment, or bend the plug, whichever was
weaker. With SONIC HORIZON cables the sound alone
will convince you. SONIC HORIZON don't attempt to
impress you with size, but rather with sound and
workmanship. All SONIC HORIZON cables are flexible
and easy to manage.
True Shotgun:
SONIC HORIZON believes that shotgun speaker cables
are vastly superior over standard design speaker cables.
Most speaker cables combine the positive and negative
conductors in one cable. True shotgun cables use on
entire cable for positive and another cable for negative.
The disadvantage to this design is that it costs nearly
twice as much to manufacture but, the advantages are
well worth the cost. Shotgun cables allow you to fine
tune the cable to your system. With some amp/speaker
combinations you'll obtain the best sound with the
positive and negative cables completely separated
from each other. Other amp/speaker combinations will
perform best with the positive and negative running
in parallel and some will get best results by lightly
twisting them together.
